Blogging Challenge Day 25 : MY BIGGEST REGRET (MAJOR THROWBACK)

Image
Hello everyone! It's Day 25 of my blogging challenge. Eyyyy! Today let's talk about my biggest regret in life.  I think my biggest regret is the time when I stopped having an active lifestyle. Gaash! I miss this sporty version of myself. I remember that year was 2015. For 3 times a week, I used to run 10 kilometers, mostly after work, then followed by an intense workout. Days in between this 10km runs, were 5km short runs. Huhu. I used to join fun runs almost every month. Also, I was an active participant in a bikers' group co-organized by my dad, "Riders Across Mexico" (RAM). Every Saturday, they would set long or short rides. I met new people with different ages. Because of biking, I had pushed my limits, and got out of my comfort zone. Sharing you some of my old photos, so you could imagine the younger me.  Here are photos on my very first long ride last April 9, 2015. From Mexico, Pampanga to Manaoag, Pangasinan with around 125 kilometers one-way.W...

Blogging Challenge Day 24 : WHAT ATTRACTS ME (IN LOVE)

Image
Today is a Saturday, and I have decided to continue this challenge. It's been days since my last blog. How are you holding up? I'm trying to avoid looking the recent news, but somehow I always end up seeing today's headlines. And the number of confirmed cases here in the PH reached 1075! Let's continue to stay at home to flatten the curve! What should we do in order to cope up with our situation? Be productive. Try new things. Learn a new hobby. For others, they suggest to have a routine, but for me,  I've been actually doing different things every day.  Aside from watching mukbang videos, and travel videos, I'm hooked in playing Candy Crush Friends Saga. Time to time, I watch How I Met Your Mother on Netflix, hoping that I will finish the whole series this lockdown. Or maybe a random movie just to survive another hour. lol. Last night, I re-watched The Five Year Engagement movie, and it just makes me cry every time I watch this. huhu. Also, I master...

Blogging Challenge Day 21: What Makes Me Sad

Image
Hello! How are you feeling?  It has been a week since the lockdown. Last night, I was feeling under the weather and honestly, I didn't want to be paranoid, because aside from staying at home, I'm taking vitamins C and E. I also had my flu vaccine last October, valid for a year. I got out of the bed past 1 in the afternoon, and I felt kinda better. I had steamed camote for my  brunch , then decided to start the Monday right with my daily workout routine. Then, freshened up and continued writing or whatsoever.  Today's update: As of 4pm, Department of Health confirms the country now has a total of 462 patients with 33 deaths and 18 recoveries. The number of cases has spiked up, and all we can do is to stay at home. Our current situation seems like unending and it is saddening. People are not used to staying at home for longer periods of time. We are all affected in different ways and I just hope that your mental health is still coping up. =) It's Day 21 ...

Blogging Challenge Day 20 : What Makes Me Happy

Image
Today is Saturday! Thank you Lord for blessing me a new day! As I've seen the latest update on the closed roads all over the vicinity, I realized I'm stuck here in Tarlac. I don't want to risk going home and pass all checkpoints along the way. Also, almost all of the tollgates are already closed so if ever, I would have to drive the old road just to make it home.  Last night, I stayed up late with Anju. He started teaching me guitar lessons because I remember when we started dating, he loved playing the guitar. The first time I saw him was during Shay's 18th birthday, and he was the guitarist while his classmate sang "Ako'y Sayo at Ika'y Akin Lamang". I think I'll blog this some other time on how we met properly. hihi We woke up early today, past 7 in the morning. But then, we fell asleep again and up by 1 in the afternoon. Once we got up, Anju was back in his guitar and tried perfecting "You're still the one"...

Blogging Challenge Day 10 : Best Trip of My Life (TeamAnjuKrengOtsoNa)

BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE The best trip in my life so far was in Shanghai, China last October 2019. (I made a blog regarding the itinerary and budget on this trip but guess what? I haven't finished it yet.) Around May 2019.. Me: "San ba tayo sa anniv?" Anju: "Staycation nalang, tipid muna" Me: "Bby, nakasale Shanghai. Gusto mo? Tara." Anju: "Sige book mo na" Supposedly, this trip would be just the two us, but I thought of invit ing Bebu's ate, my 2 sisters, my tita and tito to come join us.  Please like and subscribe, sharing you our travel video :    Thank God this trip was pushed through. We got to celebrate our 8th year anniversary as a couple. My Bebu prepared the itinerary as usual. We didn't encounter any problems on this trip because it went well. We enjoyed so much! It was easy to travel DIY in Shanghai. But you must install a VPN in...

Blogging Challenge Day 6 : What are you afraid of

Image
Been occupied these past few days, and today I sat down to continue writing this challenge. I am afraid of:  Heights Snakes Frogs Rodents Ghosts I am afraid of being left behind. I don't like the feeling of being stuck. I'm afraid of being a failure. I'm afraid of failing my role as the eldest in the family. I'm afraid of failing as a good friend. I'm afraid that I may fail to overcome all these struggles that I am currently encountering. I'm scared of growing old alone. I'm scared of having fine lines, wrinkles, saggy skin all over my body. But aging is not our choice. We will all age in time. I have a lot to be afraid of, and I think this is just normal. Few days before, I had a breakdown. I was dealing with my depression. I had this random thought; what if we're scared of feeling the bliss of happiness again? Is it because we're already used to feeling the agony of sadness. The storm cloudi...
