Epic Zoom Meeting

Something happened today at work.

So while we were having our daily catch-up meeting, suddenly I heard "TAHOOOOOOOOOO" a taho vendor (in the background) passed by from one of my officemates (background). I couldn't stop myself. I didn't know how to hide my laughter. Then, our boss shouted "Why are you laughing, Corina?" I was really shocked because based from the tone of her voice, I thought she was mad. I also couldn't explain myself clearly because I was still laughing. After coming into my senses, I was quite defensive and explained my reason because it felt like I disrespected my boss. Thank goodness, my officemates also laughed with me and saved me from that situation. Then, my boss also shared that she had an experience making soymilk from real soya beans. Phewww!!!! I was able to get away on that embarrassing moment. That was almost late morning, so I didn't expect that there would still be selling taho during that time. We were able to record that, but of course, I won't be posting it here. Hahahahah!!!!! Can you imagine??? I still can't move on!!! 

From now on, I will be alert and if something funny happens, I will just have to turn off my camera. Hahahaha!

I remember I wrote my most embarrasing moment in my blog last April or May but I think today was much worse. 

How are you during your zoom meetings? Can you share your tips on how to stay serious all throughout the session? I tried distracting myself using my phone, but my name was called. They thought I was busy working. They didn't know I was really distracting myself so that I would not laugh. Hehehe
