Blogging Challenge Day 12 : My Favourite Childhood Book
Another day to write!
So for today's challenge is My Favourite Childhood Book.
Here it is:
5 People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
I've read this book way back in high school I think. My uncle had a copy of this one and he let me borrow his. I didn't expect that it would be good. Really good. Because before reading this, I was into Nicholas Sparks books. More into romance novels. Hehe.
Here are some lines that gave an impact:
"In order to move on, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it."
"There are five people you meet in heaven," the Blue Man suddenly said. "Each of us was in your life for a reason. You may not have known the reason at the time, and that is what heaven is for. For understanding your life on earth."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With this book, I realized that we are all interconnected. We meet someone for a reason. Everything happens for a reason. It might be good. It might be bad. It's not always sunny. Rainy days pass by. Just like life, there are good days, but there are also bad days. You are a like a sprouting plant that needs rain and sunshine in order to grow into a better one.
